RESERVATIONS
To ensure a streamlined check-in process, choose your day and time before you arrive. We give you the option to reserve it from the Grind Heart website or on our branded Mindbody app.
If you are a new client, you can register online and sign electronic waivers on our website or directly on our branded Mindbody app so you can start enjoying Grind Heart services the moment you walk in!
ROLLING 14-DAY BOOKING WINDOW
A 14-day rolling booking window is open for class reservations.
CLASS & PERSONAL/SEMI TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY
PLEASE CANCEL AT LEAST 4 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR SCHEDULED CLASS TIME TO AVOID LOSING YOUR CLASS SESSION AND INCUR A LATE CANCEL FEE.
Class: Late cancellations and no shows will result in the a)forfeiture of your class session for non-Unlimited packages and b)a $35 (late cancellation /no show) fee for Unlimited packages.
To early cancel a class, please log into your account and click the early cancel button or call Grind Heart during normal business hours (voicemails after hours will not be honored), and we will gladly assist you.
PERSONAL/SEMI TRAINING: PLEASE CANCEL AT LEAST 12 HOURS BEFORE YOUR PERSONAL OR SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING TO AVOID LOSING YOUR TRAINING SESSION.
Please contact your trainer 12 hours or more before your scheduled training session. If you cancel < 12 hours a session will be taken from your package.
WAITLIST POLICY
PLEASE PURCHASE A CLASS OR PACKAGE BEFORE SIGNING UP ON THE WAITLIST. If you are moved off the Waitlist into a class and don’t have any class session on file, a drop-in session will be automatically charged to your credit card on file to hold the reservation.
If your preferred class time is completely booked, we definitely recommend placing yourself on the Waitlist. As spots open up, they are assigned to Waitlisted clients in the order in which they are registered on the Waitlist.
**PLEASE NOTE: We assume you will want to attend every session you are Waitlisted for, and it is entirely your responsibility to monitor all your reservations, including your Waitlisted ones. If a spot becomes available, you will receive notification from Grind Heart via email and/or phone confirming your automatic enrollment.
If you are still on the Waitlist and have not moved off it at the start of class, your class session remains in your account. If you are no longer interested in a class for which you are on the Waitlist, please promptly remove yourself from it either online or by calling the gym during normal business hours to avoid losing your class session and incur a no-show fee (should you be moved into the class).
CLASS RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE INTERCHANGED
If you are scheduled for one class and also receive a spot from a Waitlisted class, please cancel one of them at least 4 hours prior to the class start time to avoid being double charged. If you are scheduled for a class that you cannot attend and it is past the 4-hour cancellation window, you forfeit that class session and are not allowed to switch to an opening in another class or Waitlisted class in the hopes of saving that session.
Walk-ins are welcome. Should any last-minute spots open up prior to the start of class, we will gladly offer them to any walk-ins after Waitlists are considered first. Your account will be charged immediately upon confirmation of a spot in class.
Open Gym Policy
1. Open Gym hours are on the Class schedule and are subject to change.
2. Open gym members must book their desired open gym time using our website or by
using the Mindbody mobile app before their workout.
3. There is a 2-hour booking window for the use of open gym. (The desired open gym
time slot must be booked at least 2 hours prior to arrival.)
4. Open gym members must clean up and put away any equipment used during their
visit.
5. Open gym members are not authorized to bring a guest.
6. Open gym cancellations must be made within 30 days in advance of the next billing cycle.
7. Personal training is ONLY allowed by Grind Heart Fitness Trainers. Members cannot train others.
PURCHASE & REFUND POLICY
Class and Coach assignments are subject to change. Pricing and package expiration dates are subject to change. Class packages are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please refer to Cancellation Policy below.
Please adhere to all current package expiration dates listed at: grindheartfitness.com/pricing. Package expiration period begins immediately after the sale date. Expiration dates can and will be enforced. Please be conservative with your package purchase option if you feel that you will not be able to utilize all classes within the allotted time frame. Should you wish to extend your current / active package, please refer to our Extension Policy below.
For health and safety reasons, all class options are limited to 2 classes per day (you could not have trained with a personal trainer though and take 2 classes; only 1 class would be permitted), and class participants must be 18 years of age or older (unless otherwise noted).
All retail purchases are final and non-refundable.
The client may not transfer any remaining time to another person.
PACKAGE EXTENSION POLICY
The package extension policy allows you to extend your expiration date in accordance with the following terms below. Please be conservative with your package purchase option if you feel that you will not be able to utilize all classes within the allotted time frame.
- All extension requests must be submitted via email to info@grindheart.com and must be current / active at the time of request. Expired packages are not eligible for reactivation / extension.
- We will honor one package extension per package (once per calendar year) in one-month increments, for a minimum of one (1) month and a maximum of three (3) consecutive months.
- The extension fee is $25 / month, payable in full at the time of your request. Fees are non-refundable.
- For Medical Extension/Termination:
- If you have a current class package and an extenuating injury or medical condition arises that prevents you from temporarily attending Grind Heart, you may extend/terminate your package(s) once per calendar year, in one month increments, for a minimum of one month up to a maximum of 6 consecutive months, with an appropriate doctor’s note.
- To initiate a medical extension/termination, please email your request and attach your doctor’s note to info@grindheart.com.
- The fees will be waived.
- The package will be marked inactive and cannot be used until a formal request to reactivate it is submitted via email or in person.
Cancellation Policy for Unused Packages
- Doctor determines you are ill or injured to the extent that in your doctor’s opinion you are unable to use the facilities after the date of your agreement with Grind Heart takes effect. You may cancel in person and receive a partial refund of your unused package sessions/classes.
- Grind Heart relocates more than 15 miles from the current facility
- Client relocates more than 15 miles from the current facility. We require proof of relocation.
- Restriction on Cancellation: If you fail to use your membership and do not use our facility, you are not relieved of your payment obligation, regardless of the circumstance, except as provided for in this Cancellation Policy.
Gym Rules
1. All guests must sign in with a trainer and are charged the drop-in fee: $35 (classes only)
2. Pets are not permitted in the facility.
3. Cubbies are provided at no charge. Items left in the cubbies will be removed and placed in our Lost & Found.
4. Items in our facility are property of Grind Heart and are available for your use. A charge will be attached to client’s account for any items removed or damaged from the facility.
5. We reserve the right to close the facility or limit equipment for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
6. Grind Heart management reserves the right to revoke any client without notice in Grind Heart’s reasonable opinion if the client fails to act in a reasonable or appropriate manner while using the facility with the provision that on such revocation there will be no refund.
7. Client shall give notice to Grind Heart any changes to their personal information (address, mobile, email). Failing such notice, all communication shall be presumed to have been received by the client.
8. Client shall give notice to Grind Heart any changes to their payment information. If at any time the credit card on file cannot be authorized, client privileges will be revoked until valid payment method is provided.
9.Client understands that it is their sole responsibility to determine their physical fitness for any exercise or activity.
10.Children under 12 are prohibited from use of the exercise equipment unless spotted by Grind Heart trainer. Children under 12 need supervision always. Their guardian/parent should remain at Grind Heart’s facility until their session is over.
11. Client understands that a Session/Class may result in exposure to, and transmittal of, the COVID-19 virus (or any other virus or illness), which could lead to personal injury or death and Client hereby assume all risks and responsibility for any losses and damages that may result
from such exposure and/or transmission.
12.Client agrees to not use Grind Heart facility while having any open cuts, abrasions, open sores, infections, or illnesses.
WAIVER & RELEASE
By registering at Grind Heart, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in a program of intense physical exercise. You acknowledge that Grind Heart strongly recommends that you consult with your physician prior to training. You acknowledge that you are fully informed of the strenuous nature of this exercise program and the possibility of adverse physiological occurrences including, but not limited to, abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heart attack or death. You assume all risk for your health and well-being, and fully release and hold harmless for any responsibility, cost or damages Taking the Climb LLC dba Grind Heart Fitness its instructors, members, and employees. You acknowledge that your agreement to this release applies to each time you visit Grind Heart. You acknowledge that you, and any minor under your care, have voluntarily chosen to participate. You assume all risk for your health and well-being, and that of any minor under your care, and fully release Taking the Climb LLC dba Grind Heart Fitness from all liability.
